Set in the south and then the north of England, family man David ’Dono’ Donovan is at that dangerous age when he feels his marriage has gone stale. He meets a bewitching woman in a local pub whilst he is out celebrating his boss’s lottery win, and his life changes, irreparably, forever.
From then on, his life becomes a mixture of inflamed desire, risk, romance, illusion and reality. The consequences of which lead him into a series of disasters he could not have envisaged.
