ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Esa, who was born in 1951, felt he had to follow a respectable career path and so, despite his other interests, studied law. After freelancing for European motorsport publications for over 20 years, he gave up practising law in the ’90s, concentrating fully on journalism and PR instead. He is now semi-retired, but continues to write books about the motorsport industry.

Acknowledged Lola expert John Starkey has owned and raced Lolas – including a recently-acquired T70 Mark IIIb. He is also the author of the definitive Lola T70 history and, with Ken Wells, a complementary volume to this, covering all Lola cars built between 1957 and 1977 (both Veloce publications). Before moving to the USA, John was Curator of the famous Donington racing car collection in England.

Ferrari 250GT "Tour de France"

ABOUT THE BOOK
Back after a long absence!
The Ferrari GT Berlinettas are undeniably beautiful and, arguably, the greatest Ferrari racing cars ever built. The 250 GT Competizione Berlinetta – now popularly known as the Tour de France Berlinetta, in honour of the model’s domination of the great French event with four outright victories – was the true forerunner of the series of cars which established Ferrari as a major force in sports car racing.
Here is the story of the development, building and racing of the Tour de France Ferraris. Importantly, the book also contains individual histories of the Ferrari TdF Berlinettas.

Out of print for many years, this classic edition has been reissued in paperback format, due to popular demand.

Bugatti Type 40

ABOUT THE BOOK
This book is a pictorial tribute to the 4-cylinder Bugatti Type 40. Although sometimes unkindly referred to as ‘Ettore’s Morris Cowley,’ the model nevertheless shared its fine engineering pedigree with all other Bugattis. Packed with mainly period photographs, illustrations and sales literature, it is a visual treat for all admirers of this model, and for added interest the book also features the factory’s individual chassis sales records.
