ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Roger Williams was born in 1940. Aircraft became his first love, and he joined the de Havilland Aircraft
Company where he quickly added motor cars to his list of prime interests. During the ensuing six years Roger
not only completed his apprenticeship and studies, but also built two Ford-based 'specials.' Family and career
interests took pride of place for the next few years but, in 1986, he started his own consultancy business
which allowed him to restore numerous MGBs, a Triumph TR6 and a Triumph Stag, as well as to write several
books about both MGB and Triumph sportscar performance and restoration, all published by Veloce.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
After a career as a road test editor for a Dutch motoring magazine, Jeroen Booij decided to become a
freelance motoring journalist. He prefers describing the weird and wonderful of the automotive industry,
specialising in classic, specialist, or simply unusual cars, which has often led to full features on vehicles that are
hardly taken seriously by the regular press. With a passion for Minis, it was a logical step to write a book about
all of the cars that derived from it, which Jeroen spent nearly five years researching. He lives in Amsterdam
with girlfriend, Annette, and daughter, Violette.
